(nee Kelly), loving father of Steven (Alice), Margaret Ann (Randall) Johnson, Daniel, Mary Beth and the late Victor, Salvadore A., and Richard, fond grandfather of Joseph, Stephanie, Steven Jr., Salvadore, Alicia Cheversia, Elizabeth and Margaret Johnson, brother of Margarita Vivas, Maria Luisa Rodriguez, uncle and great uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral Tuesday, 9 a.m. from Donnellan Funeral Home, 10525 S. Western Ave., to Holy Rosary Church, Mass 10 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Dear Cheversia Family, Know that you are in our thoughs and our prayers. We will miss Sal's smile and handshake from across the aisle at church each Sunday.He was courageous in his battle and hopeful each time we asked him how he was. His faith was apparent and very inspiring. We will miss him.

Our very deepest sympathy and condolences to the familt of Sal. He will be dearly missed by all his friends, compadres, and bartenders at Post #330. His personal seat, with Budweiser, ashtray & golf on tv shall remain empty for a while till we get over our grief. Sal, rest in peace and watch over your family from Heaven.We will miss your hard work at Fish Fry's & your dedication to honor our members at Post Everlastings of our members.

I am so sorry to hear about Sal's passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and MaryBeth. Sal was one of the funniest people I knew. He could make you laugh at the drop of a hat. I remember him always calling me Robinhood. (MaryAnn Davis's niece)
