Ruth Mustain Obituary

Ruth Mustain was my father's first cousin. I remember when she came to visit us in North Hollywood California in the 60's when we lived there. Ken and Steven came with her, and I'll never forget the trip to Pacific Ocean Park. Steven went with me on the Octopus ride, and I was so scared I sang the Lord's Prayer. I wonder if Steven remembers that. Ruth was a special cousin that I will always remember, even though our meeting was brief. May God comfort all the family who will surely miss her. My thanks to cousin Bruce Hildebrandt who forwarded the news to me.

Ruth Mustain was dedicated teacher. My son, Joel, was privileged to have her as a teacher in the PIE program at Skinner School. She was committed to making a difference in the lives of "special" children. May her spirit live on in the lives of her own children and grandchildren.

There are no words that can portray the loving, caring and sincere person that Ruth was. I will always remember her desire to teach and help parents and young children. However, nothing could compete with the love Ruth had for her family. There wasn't a day that went by that she didn't have a delightful story to tell me about a family loved one...her heart was full of love and concern for all.



May the family she left behind know that she will truly be missed by not only them but by so many others she imparted her love on.
