Ruth Hirsch Obituary

Hirsch, Ruth Age 87, passed away January 11, 2015. Devoted daughter of the late Teddy and Gertrude Schwartz; beloved wife of the late Irving Hirsch; caring mother of Sharon (Lee) Hogeorges, Cybil (Dave) Pettinger, and Robert (Bonnie Adler) Hirsch; cherished gramma of Brian (Rachel) Wolf, Tracy (Marcus) Messina, Ryan (Helen) Miller, Chad and Scott Hirsch, and Scott Pettinger; treasured great-grandmother to Dylan and Jake Wolf, Coleman and Mina Miller, and Aly Pettinger; dear sister of Lois Krause and the late Eileen Alperstein; cousin, aunt, and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews and special aunt to the Singer family. Funeral service Tuesday, 10:30 a.m., at Weinstein Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette. Interment Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Midwest Palliative and Hospice CareCenter, www.carecenter.org. Info. 847-256-5700.
