(nee Wenk), beloved wife of the late Jerry, devoted mother of Diane (Michael) Carbon and Lynn (Eric) Froberg, loving grandmother of Scott (Cari) and Todd Shamberg, Sarah and Josh Froberg, proud great-grandmother of Ava Jordan, dear sister of David (Barbara) Wenk, loving aunt of her nieces and nephews. Services Thursday, 2:30 p.m., at Chicago Jewish Funerals Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd. (one blk. North of Lake Cook Rd.), Buffalo Grove. Interment Shalom. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her memory to American Diabetes Assn., 30 N. Michigan Ave., Suite 2015, Chicago, IL, 60602, would be appreciated. dear diane, lynn, and family: i doubt that you will remember me, as i knew you long ago, when i would share much fun with jerry at
"the stable" and "on the trail", and
enjoy ruth's company "whenever". i was out of the country when i learned of jerry's death, and i send my most sincere condolences to you -- what wonderful parents you had and what wonderful fun, warm friends they were. my thoughts are with you and yours.
