Bloom, Ruth (nee Ginsburg), age 94, beloved wife for 52 years of the late Morris, loving mother of Dr. Joel (Risa) Bloom and Brucene (David) Mangurten, fond mother-in-law of the late Margaret Bloom (nee Katz), adored grandma of Jonathan (Patty) and Douglas (Lisa) Bloom, Stephanie (Dr. Joel) Braunstein, Brooke (Mark) Golding, proud great-grandmother of Rebecca, Matthew, Sara, Jacob, Noah, Julia, Samara, Anna and Sari, cherished sister of Seymour (Jacqueline) Gaynes and the late Dr. Bernard Burg, treasured aunt and great aunt of many. Ruth was lovingly cared for by her companion Marie. Service Wednesday, 1 p.m. at The Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove (1 block N. of Lake Cook Rd.). Interment Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Weinberg-Gidwitz Center, 1551 Lake Cook Rd., Deerfield, IL 60015. Info The Goldman Funeral Group, Irwin Goldman Director 847-478-1600.
