Rudy Kozlik Obituary

Rudy was my niece's husband (Lega) and father of Katherine. During the time that I knew of him, he was a wonderful husband and father to both Lega and Katherine. His mother-in-law, Pat, knew that he made her daughter so happy and that made Pat happy. It was so sad that he left us so young, but his memory will stay forever with us. I believe he is with us in spirit and I would say he is now in a place where he will look down on his wife, Lega and daughter, Katherine, and will so proud of both of them. May he rest in peace.

dear uncle rudy,
i miss you so much. guess what? your on google :) your famous. i am going to miss everything. our sock fights, the way you would eat the whole bag of chips before anyone else could get to it, the bike rides, when you play basketball with me when no one else would, watching tommy boy over and over again, fishing right beside you, listening to your voice when i walked through the saying "sky girl look whos here", when you would walk through the door with a big red sak on your back at christmas time, an much much more. i miss you so much you cant even imagine. i hate that i cant just call you for advice and here your voice. i hate that im not ever gunna get to see you again. i will love you forever.

Uncle rudy,
it still seems so unreal. i remeber it just like it was yesterday that we would all be watching tommy boy while you hogged all the chips. you were just like a big kid you wuld go swimming with me and kat when no one else would, you would take us for slurpies or on bike rides and fishing( which was the best) you gave me the courage to do the unimaginable.you were like a second father. i will never ever forget you, i will love you forever and you will always take up a special place in my heart.

I knew Rudy from the old neighborhood. Haven't seen him in a long time but heard of his passing. My prayers go out to his family and friends. I will say a prayer for Rudy so that he may find peace.

Hi Leiga and Kat. We all really miss Rudy and hope that you guys are going to be alright. Rudy was a great person and was like the symbol of a fisherman. He had a country accent drove trucks and loved to fish. He was one of a kind. We will all miss him so much and we love you guys.

Dear Rudy's Family,
I am so sorry to hear of his passing. We were friends through our high school years, and tho I haven't seen or talked to him in more than 20 years, this hits me hard. I spent hours sitting with him on the porch the summer of that bad car accident. I wasn't alone. Lots of friends came by to cheer him up. My last real memory of him was in Woolworth's on 63rd. I worked there in the mid 80's. There he was on Christmas Eve (his birthday?) in the toy aisle. We chatted...wished each other a Merry Christmas.... Farewell old friend......

Dear Lega and Kat I am very sorry for your loss. I knew Rudy ever since I was about six and i have many good memories of him, but one of my favorites was when he took Erika,Kat and me down town last christmas. That was the first time I was ever down town that time of year and I had an amazing time. I will miss him very much.

Lega & Kat, We are so sorry for your loss. A great memory I have of Rudy is when we went on a field trip when the kids were in 1st grade I believe. Rudy went and sat next to Tommy on the bus and talked to him about fishing and baseball. Tommy was laughing and had a smile on his face the whole ride home. He was such a good man and we appreciate all the times he helped us out with picking up the kids at school. He will be missed by all of us. Rest in Peace Rudy.
