Rosemary Steel Obituary
Rosemary C. Steel nee Fath, age 95, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, May 31, 2024. Rosemary was a longtime resident of Wilmette, IL and formerly of Winnetka, IL. She was a matriarch of a three-generation family. Beloved wife of her late Kenneth Sr. Loving mother of Joan, Robert, Kenneth Jr. and Richard. Proud grandmother of Katrina, Michael, Kenneth III, Connor, Katheryn Tierney and Kiernan. Dear sister of the late Dr. Robert Fath. Received exception care and compassion from Evelyn Mentolaroc, Ferry Alalum, Dina Colnar, Bessie Gallardo, Aurora Evardo and Emma Abbate. Funeral Mass Friday, June 7, 2024, 12 Noon at Saints Faith, Hope & Charity Church, 191 Linden Street, Winnetka, IL 60093. To virtually attend the funeral Mass, visit Rosemary's obituary page on donnellanfuneral.com. A private family entombment will follow the funeral Mass. A celebration of Rosemary's life will be held later this year. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to support Rush University Medical Center.
