Sestito, RoseMarie

RoseMarie Sestito, age 82; passed into eternal life on July 1, 2024, with many loving cousins and friends at her side. Cherished daughter of the late Antoinette (nee Marino) and the late Joseph Sestito. At just the age of 3, her father, a WWII Marine, was killed in action at Iwo Jima. She grew up in Bridgeport in an Italian American Catholic family full of love and kindness. RoseMarie was a woman of faith who served the Lord as a volunteer at St. Jerome Croatian Catholic Church where she attended grammar school and was a long-time parishioner. Dear cousin to all who loved her, Godmother to many, and friend to everyone she met. RoseMarie was a member of St. Jerome Marian Society, VFW Women's Axillary, Club Sinj, Armour Park Senior Club, and an officer at ONIAC Women's Alliance. Visitation will be held on Friday; July 5th from 3:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at Michael Coletta Sons Funeral Home 544 West 31st St. Saturday; July 6th Chapel Prayers at the Funeral Home 10:15 A.M. with procession to St. Jerome Croatian Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 A.M. Entombment St. Mary Cemetery.
