I am the youngest Rey daughter who remembers being born at 310 W 32nd St in 1929 to John and Anna Rey...I remember the good times with the Bertucci family in the basement where something was always cooking and the washing machine was always running....I am sorry to hear of Rose's passing....what a wonderful and kind family and I am sure the loss is great for all of you....please accept my deepest sympathy in this time of sorrow as was extended to us when we lost my parents and brother,Manuel and my aunt and cousin in a plane crash in 1959...Sincerely, Ann Rey Clam

Bernie, I was in your class at Vis. I hung out with Babe Ciamprone, Pinky Tomasiello and Sherry Saracco. I am praying that The Lord will help you through the great loss of your mother. Mary Lu Sweeney

My sincere condolences to your family. I have fond memories of Rose from the days of Bridgeport Music School when my dad,Harry Grebb, taught Anthony how to play the drums. One year there was a spaghetti dinner to raise money for a trip that the students were taking to a music contest. Rose and Tony worked tirelessly in the kitchen rolling meatballs, serving food and providing their great Italian spirit to my dad's big event. I will always remember Rose and Tony as being so kind to me and my family. How could God take two such kind hearts(Rose and Harry) at the same time? At least you will know that Rose will be serenaded by some beautiful saxophone music. My prayers are with all of you at this time of great loss.
