Pellegrino, Rose M. (nee DePaola), beloved wife of the late Vincent A. Sr., loving mother of Diane (Jim) Constanzo, Vincent A. Jr. (Lynne) and Barbara (Kenneth C.P.D.) DeFalco, dear grandmother of Julie, Jimmy, Tina, Vincent III, Nicole and Nicholas, great-grandmother of Michael Vincent, Maggie Lynne and Dee Dee Marie, aunt of many nieces and nephews. Member of O.L.C. Friendship Club. Funeral services Monday, July 26th, at 9 a.m., from Sourek Manor Funeral Home, 5645 W. 35th St., Cicero, to Our Lady of Charity Church for 9:30 a.m., Mass. Rose... so aptly named. She was a warm, generous, beautiful person, but with an urban toughness and a mind and wit that was sharp as a thorn.
Her wink... her inimitable wink, always said, "Okay, Dion, I'm going to let it slide, but you're not fooling anybody... least of all me, with your lame excuses."
I owe her much... in my youth she literally "opened doors" for me. Her kindness and generosity made me and my wife members of her fortunate family.
We share with all the family, their sorrow and deep sense of loss.

This was unexpected and sudden to us. Our hearts go out to the family, (to my cousins that I haven't seen in years.) Aunt Rose will be missed and in our prayers.
