Soon after my own mother died, I happened to deliver some groceries to Mrs. Guanci.
She was still in the Everett house, and I'd been to lunch with Ro and told her sure, I'd drop off her mother's shopping. We used to go to dinner there a few times a year when I was a kid and she'd play the piano for us...I thought she was a kick.
After Mrs. Guanci made me sit and eat my second lunch, she asked me what kind of Italian my mother was...because even though she didn't think their families had come from the same part of Italy, if I described things to her, she would try to cook my mother's food so I wouldn't lose the taste of it
I cried all the way home.
Peace,
Dee

Rose, Nancy and crew,
My love and prayers are with you.
She was a lucky lady to have such a wonderful, loving family.

My deepest sympathies to the Guanci family. The deep maternal love Rose shared with her family is demonstrated by the loving bond that holds your family together. Rose (daughter) so often speaks of the family, of the gatherings and of the memories she has of her nieces and nephews and of their children. One cannot miss the depth of caring this family shows one another. This is a wonderful tribute to a mother/woman who has raised her family to the highest standards.
