Rosalyn was nothing short of fabulous. She met with a variety of Des Plaines District 62 teachers for lunch or years before at little "tertulias" we had, and every time we met, I left just marveling at what an awesome person she and your dad were. If only I had been lucky to have her as their mentor/teacher. But how fortunate I was just to know her and hear about your dear father, Domingo. The world is a much better place because both of them were in it, and did so much for so many. God bless her daughters and may she rest in God's eternal peace. We will all miss her.

Rosalyn had a huge impact on my life and my career. Without her mentoring I would never have entered and been successful as a Spanish teacher. And what a joy it was to maintain friendship with her long past my college years at NEIU. She will be much missed.

We pray that God will comfort each of you and when you recall all the wonderful memories you had may your heart be filled with warmth and love.
