Hola y Adios...for now mi Ita. I am happy I was able to tell you I love you before they took you away from THE HOME. You looked so peaceful, and no longer in a daze, or in pain. The last time I saw you was when I waved to you from the hallway (you waved back) after Tio and I had just finished feeding you dinner at THE HOME. Something told me that would be the last time I'd see you alive, so I stared at you smiling, holding my hand up waving in the hallway for a while at you, while you looked at me waving back. I became very sad while taking the elevator to exit the building and driving home that night. I wish we could have spent more time with you as we got older. I know I tried my best, but at times, could have tried harder to visit you and Ito more often. You were always so clever/funny, and great to talk to. You were the perfect grandma, very loving, caring, and supportive. It was with you, that I'd be able to practice my spanish, and you'd practice your ingles with me. Time passes so fast and truly is priceless. I miss you Ita, and will pray for you. I know all you ever wanted, was to be surrounded by family, and the people who love you. Te amo mucho Ita. Your body will be at rest, but your spirit will live on in all of us. Thanks for all of your love. You had a good turn out. Many people showed up that cared about you. Even El Padre de St. Mary of The Lake could not hold back his tears. When my mother, tu Gloria, delivered her words for you, I had never heard her speak with so much love and passion for someone. Her delivery, slight screams, and tears for you, were so moving, it was as if you rose again for that moment, only to tell her, "I love you Gloria, but I must go now Hija, it is my time." I felt so sad. It just shows how much we truly all love you. :''-( You'll always be my little Ita and I'll always be your Will aka Billy :-D Te veo en mis suenos...

i love you so much and will miss you dearly. i know you are in a better place now, looking down at us with ito, making sure we are all doing ok and guiding us through this time of sorrow. although, it was a sad day for the family, the day ended up being beautiful, just like i am sure you wanted, especially for my mom since it was her birthday. thank you for that, she really needed to see some sunshine. i love you and ito and one day we will all reunite.
