Garcia, Rosa M. "Rosy" "Mami Rosita", longtime resident of the East Side passed away comfortably at home surrounded by family and friends after a battle with cancer, beloved wife of Gerardo Garcia, loving mother of Ricky Garcia, Joe Garcia, Mune Reyes, Eddie Garcia, Patty Hernandez, Gaby (Kevin) Garcia-Coward and Jorge Garcia, dear grandmother of Karina, Jackie, Saphire, Jayssen, Adrian, Eric, Lylya, Christopher, Andrew, Mikey, Emma, Anthony and Lizzie, fond sister, aunt and friend of many. Member of various organizations at St. Francis de Sales Church. Visitation Friday 2 to 9pm. Funeral services Saturday, October 17, 2009 8:30am prayers from Elmwood Chapel, 11200 S. Ewing Ave., Chicago to St. Francis de Sales Church. Mass 9am. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. 773-731-2749 elmwoodchapel.com
