McGee, Pastor Roosevelt age 64, of Michigan City, IN, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2009. Roosevelt McGee served as Pastor of Green Grove M.B. Church #2. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Sarah McGee, and his sister, N'aimah Malik (nee Earlene). He leaves to cherish precious memories his wife, Diane, his daughters, Keva and China, his sons, Roosevelt (Kim), and Shawn (Tanisha), three grandchildren, Miles, Jabril, and Elle, two sisters, Evelyn and Joanne, two brothers, Joseph and Charlie, an uncle, Sam Washington, an aunt, Dorothy Bryant (Elmo), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 13th from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Angelus Funeral Home, 8243 S. Ashland Ave., Chicago. The wake will be Wednesday, October 14th at Sweet Holy Spirit Church, 8621 S. South Chicago Ave., Chicago, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., followed by services from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. As Pastor McGee was a U.S. Army Veteran, interment will take place at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
