Werner, Ronald Martin Age 72, of Calumet City, IL passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015. He is survived by his spouse, Frances (nee Favaro) Werner; sons, Ronald D. Werner, Paul (Mari) Werner, Joshua Werner, and David Werner; daughters, Karen (Joseph) DiVittorio, Kimberly (Michael) Shanahan, Kristen (Troy "J") Werner, and Candy Werner; sisters, Carol (Terry) Conway-Hunt, Sharon (late Roger) Florey and Joyce (Jeff) Martin; ten grandchildren; and six nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Henry and Anna Werner; maternal grandparents, James and Martha Ralph; parents, Russell and DorIa Werner; and brother, David Werner. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave., Munster, IN, with Pastor Bob Neuman, officiating. Visitation will held on Tuesday at the funeral home, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the 7:00 p.m. service. Ronald worked for Penn Central, Conrail and CSX Railroads from over 40 years. He belonged to several Horticultural and Seed organizations, from around the world. Ronald was also the founder and owner of Ron's Rare Plants and Seeds. www.kishfuneralhome.net
