Grandpa Ron was more of a grandpa to me at times then some of my real grandpas were. My mom and dad knew Steve and Carrie from their younger days and they would babysit me and my brother all the time. Grandpa Ron has been there for me since I was born. He would always talk about how he changed my diapers. Now that he is gone I miss him...even though my mom and dad told me he is in a better place. Since Grandpa Ron lived with Aunt Carrie and Uncle Steve in Des Plaines and my family moved to Antioch we hadn't seen them in a couple of years. I was happy to learn that they were moving to Antioch. But now I am disappointed to know that he will not be there to see me graduate high school or be able to see Tim drive. He was a caring man and a great friend and he, as well as his family and friends, are in my prayers. R.I.P. Grandpa Ron. I love you.
