Topper will always be remembered for his devotion to, and love of, his family, friends and heritage.
They say a man can be judged by the friends that he kept and cared about. Topper associated himself with a vast array of patriots, professionals and everyday people. He was 'old school' in that regard... "God and Country."
He could not only just fill a room, but brighten it as well. Hardly did he ever leave one's presence without pulling out his wallet or that proverbial feather that he often used to massage your funny-bone, a giver in every respect.
Rest in peace now, old friend, your work here is done. We all are grateful for the many lives that you touched along the way. You will forever be remembered as that revered product, truly ... "Chicago's Finest."
