Spino, Ronald T."Ronnie" Late of Crest Hill and a former resident of Cicero; retired chief of Cook County Merit Board; passed Wednesday, February 5, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband and best friend of Peggy; loving father of Gina and Sam; devoted son of the late Sam and the late Viola; faithful brother to Adolph (Geri) and Richard; fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. Ron was a man of strength, courage and has always been there for anyone that crossed his path. He will forever be loved and missed. Please OMIT flowers. Services will be held Monday, February 10, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. in the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel, 1105 E. 9th (159th) St., Lockport, 60441 to St. Dennis Church, Lockport for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Mount Carmel Cemetery, Hillside. Visitation Sunday, February 9, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

I remember Ronnie from 50 years ago when he use to race his Pontiac on 5th Ave. It was the nicest and fastest car in the hood. RIP Ronnie. Peggy I'm so sorry foryour loss, you and your family is in my prayers. God Bless!
