Fr. Pat Lyons

April 13, 2010

Marnee,
My name is Fr. Pat Lyons. I was a deacon at St. Gall in 1969 when I first met him and other teens. Even though this was over 40 years ago, those memories are still dear to me as they ehlped the foundation of my ministry. I was alo the lucky recipient of one of his artictic creations - a stained glass piece with a golf ball as part of the decoration.
Ron will be remembered in our Sunday petitions this weekend. Be assured on my ongoing prayers for your family

Dear Marnee,
Lisa and I were extremely saddened to hear of Ron's passing. God must have needed the world's finest floral designer/artist with Him in Heaven. We talked about how nice it was seeing you, Ron, Andy, and Damon at the I-80 flea market on Sundays. Even on a bad day, Ron still managed to pull himself up by his boot straps and make it out there. We've had great conversations and laughs with you all at the picnic bench, talking about a treasure one of us had found. We'll never look over at that bench the same way again. I know you're heartbroken, but know that so many people love you and are going to be there for you, including us. If there's anything you need please don't hesitate to ask. Ron was a wonderful man and will be deeply missed.
God Bless,
Lisa and Mike Donnelly
