Nikonsuk Sr., Ronald M. Born on November 23, 1939 and passed away unexpectedly on Thanksgiving, November 26, 2015, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of 52 years of Sandra (nee Drda); loving father of Ronald Jr., Nadine and Kimberly (Wilfredo "Meco") Lopez; dearest grandfather of Kimmy, Arianna, Carlos, Analicia, Sophia and the late Wilfredo "Willy" III Lopez; cherished son of the late Michael and the late Stephanie Nikonsuk; fond brother of Michael, Leonard, Marie, the late Leroy, the late Thomas, the late Josephine (the late Frank) and the late Virginia (the late Jimmy); dear son-in-law of the late Joseph and the late Anna Drda and brother-in-law of Joanne (Robert) Zolner and Joseph (the late Anna) Drda Sr.; dear uncle of Peter, Nancy, Susane, Richard, Steven, David, Crystal, Kreston, Ashley, Bobby, Joanne, Laurie, Joseph Jr., the late Linda and the late Constantino; also a great-uncle and friend to many. Devoted union member of Teamsters Local 710 Yellow Freight Truck Company. Ronald was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. His family will miss him dearly but love him forever. Until we meet again, fly with the angels, Ron! Visitation, Saturday, December 5, 2015, 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Avenue, Justice, Illinois, where a funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Cremation rites to be accorded.
