"Ray" died Tuesday, November 11, 2008, beloved husband of 60 years of Lorraine (nee Gladziszewski), loving father of Lynnette (John) Thurman, Bonnie Lapen, Pam (Len) Bryan, cherished grandfather of Brian, Jenny Steven, David, and Christina, dearest great-grandfather of three. Visitation Friday, 3 to 9 p.m. Funeral Saturday, 9:15 a.m, from Lawn Funeral Home, 7732 W. 159th St., Orland Park, to St. George Church, 6700 W. 176th St., Tinley Park. Mass 10 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Justice. Retired cryogenic engineer from the University of Chicago. Former chairman, president and treasurer of Cryogenic Society of America. WWII Army Vet. Member of American Legion Post 111. Funeral info: 708-429-3200

Sorry to hear about Ray's passing. He & Lorraine were special neighbors to Aunt Evelyn. She remembers him very fondly--always willing to "help out" when there was a need. Our thoughts & prayers are with you all.
