It is hard to say goodbye to such a wonderful man who was a great boss and mentor. Alderman Pucinski was a fine example of true leadership. He never forgot that he was elected to public office to serve his constitutents, which he did well. There are numerous initiatives he got passed in congress and the city council which helped to improve the quality of life for many.

Alderman Pucinski was also very proud of his rich Polish heritage and was a tireless worker on behalf of causes in the Polish community.

We shall miss him very much but the valuable lessons we learned from him will remain with all of us forever.
