My sincere condolences to Anne and all the family. Roger was a very special person.

A short little story...I threw a surprise birthday party for my wife Rita when she turned 40 and Roger came with Anne and took pictures. I didn't really think anything of it at the time, too many guests and just trying to make sure everything turned out right. A few weeks later this wonderful book of pictures arrived that Anne and Roger had put together. Wow, I was just speechless.
I treasure that book to this day.
What special people with incredible kindness and so thoughtful!

I met Roger Findley at GMAC Mortgage, where I, too, began my second career as a mortgage loan officer. Both of us came from strong finance backgrounds, not sales, and he immediately took me under his wing. How cool is that, when conceivably, we were all competing with each other. Not so for me and Rog. He was a GREAT mentor to me, not just by showing me technical details for the business of lending, but teaching me through great examples of kindness, fairness and thoughtfulness. He treated clients and colleagues with dignity, courtesy and respect, always. He had a smile and a kind word for everyone. I will miss my friend, Roger Findley. Ann, I hope you and I can continue what we started on your deck a few months ago. My sincerest condolences to you and your family. Sanette Isa-Bruton

Working with Roger for as many years as I had with him he always amazed me with his commitment to his customers and his passion for detail. It was the best of times sharing a laugh with him eating spicy foods and working tirelessly for customers. As an added bonus he was a fellow Mustang! What a wonderful person, awesome photographer and co-worker. I am less rich in his passing, but very wealthy in having known him.

Roger IS of the BEST, what kindness, honesty, dearness, devotedness, sobriety -- all tempered with a giant sense of humor (the essential ingredient to happiness.) He was a dear friend to us in Amsterdam in the 80s and Brussels in the 90s. We miss him dearly and remember him always in present tense, here and now, even though he has "moved." Our heartfelt condolences to all he has left behind and our continuing joy in having the Honor and Privilege to know him !

Surprised & deeply saddened to hear of Roger's passing.
Sincere condolences to dear Anne - and all his family.

I'll always remember his great talent at photography - a skill enriched by his sincerely kind & generous personality - with everyone at ease around him, he could capture wonderfully candid & artful images at our annual block parties.

A reflection of his own true nature.

So sorry to hear this, a shock. My heart goes out to Anne, Steve and all who loved Roger. I knew Roger from Amsterdam in 1986. We lost touch but reconnected online almost 10 years ago and then in person in 2013. We had a wonderful road trip south in the summer of 2015. Roger was a huge support and source of strength for me in 1986, he made a huge difference in my life. I am grateful to and for him. The world has gotten smaller with his passing.
