Among the rather large group of people my parents used to run around with, my memories of them all are through the eyes of a young child. Those of Robin, of course, were always vivacious, fun loving and full of laughter.
As a young man, though, during a time of great crisis in my family, she reached out to me like I was one of her own. For that, I will always remember her as much more. It was the first thing that came to my mind when I heard the news of her passing. Without a sense of burdon, but with that of a dutiful friend and motherly compassion, she, to me, was a voice, ear and shoulder that I will always be greatful for. A bright and beautiful person, Robin will be always be remembered as a great friend with an unforgetable personality. To me personally, she spoke volumes about her character by being who she was when it was so very needed.
To Rich, Neil and all those who knew and loved Robin, my heart goes out to you all. If there is ever anything I could do, please do not hesitate to ask.

Dear Rich and Neal and everyone else - I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Robin and I shared so many good times together way back when. If there is anything I can do, please let me know. My prayers are with you.

I knew Robin through my mother. They were good friends during my childhood and remained good friends even when we moved out of state.
My memories of Robin were that she was fun to be around. She seemed to always be smiling (I can see it in my mind now) and it was infectious. When I grew into adulthood and got to know her more as a person, not Neal's mom or my mom's friend, I liked her even more. She was a really cool person and I'll miss seeing her.
It's especially jarring since it'd been a while since I'd seen her. When my mom shared the news with me earlier this evening, that Robin had passed, it made me feel very sad. My heart goes out to her family. She will be missed by me for sure!
