Retired Sargeant C.P.D., beloved husband of Maria (nee Ranieri), loving father of Robert Jr. and April (Kurt) Filippelli, fond grandfather of Gaspare, dear brother of Theresa (John) Bredican, and the late Donald (Shirley) Sheehan, fond brother-in-law of John (the late Anna), Bruno (Tina) and Orlando (Angela) Ranieri, fond uncle of many. Funeral Friday, 9 a.m. from Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, to St. Celestine Church, Mass 10 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Member of the Fraternal Order of Police.
