Janet & Roland Turnelius
April 30, 2003
Roland and I knew Bob for over 20 years ... " we were across the street neighbors " since the 1970's.
Bob always looked on Roland as his son. Roland would always take time out to spent with Bob, doing repairs for him in the house, they were very close & good friends too.
Bob became a Special Part of Our Family, we spent alot of evenings and holidays together, having Bob over for Holiday Dinners for Thanksgivings, Easters, even Our Family Tree Trimming you could find Bob there, putting the garland on our Christmas Tree.
In the Fall, you could find Roland & Bob up at Woodhaven spending the week-end enjoying each others company especially at the Card Game held once a year.
Roland & Bob spent alot of time together and went on many fishing trips together.
Bob was a good person who always tried to see the best in everyone. When his wife died, it seemed he wasn't the same after that, he missed her so much! But once in a while Roland could sometimes bring out the " Old Bob " for all of us to see.
" Those we love are never really lost to us -
we feel them in so many special ways -
through friends they always cared about and dreams they left behind,
in beauty that they added to our days...
in words of wisdom we still carry with us and memories that never will be gone...
Those we love are never really lost to us -
For everywhere their special love lives on."
We will miss you very much Bob
