Robert Dean Mundt, 91, passed away Monday, December 1, 2025 while staying at the Waters of Greencastle. He was born on January 2, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Heinrich "Henry" and Bertha (Lorenz) Mundt. Bob graduated from Lane Technical High School, and earned his Bachelor's Degree from Illinois Institute of Technology. He served his country in the United States Army, and spent his entire career as an Industrial Designer for General Electric. L

Bob enjoyed woodworking, and was known for building doll houses. He also liked gardening, reading, working crosswords and pottery. Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Howard Mundt.

Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Marie Anne Mundt; sons, Jeffrey (Steven) Mundt and Marc (Sarah) Mundt; sister-in-law, Linda Mundt; grandson, Ezra Mundt; nieces, Jennifer Leimberer, Sandra Hix, and Heather Klump; and nephew, Thomas Mundt.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil. The family will accept friends for visitation on Saturday from 2:00 P.M. until the time of service. Online condolences may be expressed at www.moorefuneralhomes.com.
