Family-Placed Death Notice

Robert Linden McCoy, Sr. age 69 of Lilburn, passed away September 19, 2003 as a result of injuries sustain in an automobile accident. He attended West Fulton High School and Georgia State University. Bob retired two years ago as a sales rep with Univar Chemical Corp and was an active member with White Oak Baptist Church serving as Brotherhood Director, Deacon and Usher. He is a veteran and served in the United States Army for two years. He enjoyed playing golf and spenting time with family and friends. He will be missed by those who loved him. Bob is survived by his wife of 41 years, Dot McCoy; son and daughter-in-law, Bob McCoy Jr. and Theresa, grandchildren, Erica and Robert Tyler, and his mother, Georgia McCoy. The family will receive friends at 2 p.m. Sunday at White Oak Baptist Church in Lilburn with a memorial service to at 3 p.m. with Rev. Alan Hall officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to White Oak Baptist Church or the charity of ones choice. Arrangements by National Cremation Society, 770-923-2940.

Our dear friend Bob was loved deeply and will be missed deeply. Bob was an absolute "Joy" to know. His combination of faithfulness, friendliness, and good humor were an example we shall never forget.
