When I think of Mr. Marting, I smile. He was just that type of person – the kind that always made you smile. I can picture him now – walking toward us – always smiling. When I think about how I would describe him – “The nicest guy in the world that you would ever want to meet” immediately comes to mind. I’m a friend of his daughter, Barb’s and we had our fair share of mischievous adventures as teen-agers. I never saw Mr. Marting get angry – not even once. He was patient, calm and loving - and fathers like that are a true blessing. I remember Mr. Marting being a constant fixture at the Cub Scout meetings and really enjoying himself and having a good time. Now Bob Marting is in a place where there are only good times to be had. No pain or disease can hurt him now. The love that he gave and the love that he was given in return has lifted him up and carried him Home. May his family find comfort in knowing just how many lives he touched by his fine example of a man, husband and father. You have my deepest sympathy.

Our grandpa was great. He was a loving person, nice and kind. I loved to give him kisses. I am glad I spent Thanksgiving with him. I wish he could be at Christmas, but now he is in heaven and now he will spend his time with God on Gods birthday. Everybody will miss him but it’s not like he left our hearts and love. I know he won’t ride his bike to my house anymore but I am sure he will visit my heart a lot. Now he gets to spend time with his daddy and his dogs in heaven. But my daddy and grandma and all of us will miss him so much. We love you, Love Jamie
