Beloved husband to the late Mary Markey; Loving father of Patrick (Donna), Eric (Nahrain) and Heather; Proud grandfather of Sean, Jacob, Keira and Christina; Dear brother of Diana Stevens; Loving uncle of ten nieces and nephews. Chief Operating Engineer for CPS for over 40 years, proud Union officer, and Lane Tech graduate and staff. Race horse owner and enthusiast. Visitation for Robert will be held Wednesday, June 28, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Malec & Sons Funeral Home, 6000 North Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60646. A mass of Christian burial will occur Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Elizabeth of the Trinity formally known as St. Tarcissus, 6020 W. Ardmore Avenue, Chicago, IL 60646. Long ago and far away mom and dad wondered if they wanted children. In a pinch my mom Aunt Maxine was slated to give bone marror to her brother out in Seattle. Your mom and dad got to (watch over us two boys at the time for about a week. I remember them making up there minds considering us two comedians to deal with.
Wish I would have know sooner.Dad&Mom were the greatest.
