On behalf of the Pietryla family, I would like to express our most sincere sympathies. We just learned of Bob's passing only this week. We are shocked and very saddened that we did not get the chance to give our condolences in person. The Larsons were kind and good neighbors who lived just a few doors from us on 38th Place in Brighton Park. We will always keep fond memories of the family and of Bob.

My deepest sympathy. You father, Bob, is my first cousin (my mother, Aunt Julia, and Aunt Joanne were sisters). My Dad (Uncle Andy) took some movie pictures of Aunt Joanne with Bob and Ronnie when they were just babies. Recently, I had the film converted into a video. Of course, there is much more on the video of my family, also when we were quite young and living in Chicago. Those were memorable and fun days. I shall never forget.
God Bless,

April, Leah and Emily,
I had the privilege of knowing and working with your Dad for more than twenty years at ComEd. He wasn't just a co-worker, he was a friend. He had a great sense of humor and he could alway make people laugh. The world will be a sadder place without him. During these darkest of days hopfully you can all find comfort knowing that your Dad has passed into the waiting arms of your Mom in the Lord's paradise. We will keep your Mom and Dad and the three of you in our prayers.

Dear April, Leah and Emily,
My heart goes out to all of you, and my deepest condolences and prayers will be there for you. I know that your Mom and Dad are together, and I also know that they will always be watching over the three of you! I know that each of you would much rather have them here with you, but life can really suck sometimes. Your greatest strength will be in each other, and what a tribute to both of your parents to show the world the strength of that love for each other! You will also always have us to lean on whenever you feel the need - please don't hesitate to reach out - all of you! Anyways, my family and I send you all our love and prayers and sympathy. God keep you safe and healthy and always strong for each other.
