Mr. Jendra was the nicest person in this city. I am very, very sorry to hear of his passing. I will miss seeing his smiling face.

Bob, you will always be remembered in my heart as an old, kind soul. You were incredibly kind and such a wonderful judge of character (not that you weren't one yourself!!!). My heart to all you left behind.

Bob was a wonderful booster of the Burnham Park Yacht Club. He and Kathy have contributed so much to the Club and boating.

My deepest condolences to Kathi and the Jendra family. I will always have very fond memories of Bob and his love of boating and his generosity. You will be missed!

I have nothing but fond memories of Bobby. He was always very kind to me as a child and I am sure he will be missed by everyone who knew him.

I will always remember the day that Bob came to my fathers Irish Wake at Lizzie McNiel's with camera in hand and taking beautiful pictures of my family and friends who were present at my dads service on the Chicago River. I remember Bob for his wry wit and glorious photos -- and his generosity. Whenever anyone bought one of his photos, I noticed, he'd say, "pick out a card," which he called the small photos that also look great in frames. No charge, of course. His warmth and laughter will be missed. So very sorry for your loss.

I met Bob at the old Szechuan House at Ohio and Michigan about thirty years ago. His laughter and great smile always lit up the room when he arrived. You are missed.
