Dearest Dee and Family: My heart is saddened by your lost. He was a Winner! I have such fond memories of Bob, you and the family in your River Forest home and in Florida. I know Bob will be glad to see Jack, they always had great discussions about everything, including sports. It was mutual admiration. God Bless you all!

On behalf of the Fenwick High School family, please accept my deepest sympathy and joyful prayers on the passing of your wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Bob Held is a man whose legacy crosses all 8 decades in which this school has thrived. As an inaugural member of the Fenwick Hall of Fame and a tireless worker on Fenwick's behalf on so many occasions, Bob will always hold a place here among the very few whom we cherish as leaders and co-workers in our efforts to transform the world.
We share in your grief and in your hope in the knowledge that Bob has gone before us marked with the sign of faith. May his soul rest in peace.

Dear Mrs.Held, Judy and family:
I was very saddened to read of your loss. What a wonderful long life your husband and father had....It seems like yesterday, when we were walking down the aisle in church with our fathers. What wonderful husbands and fathers they were and to think they were friends, before us! And, now -- we celebrate their lives.
God bless you and your family and I hope to speak to you soon.
Love,
Mary Ann
