We think of Bob/Dad/Grandpa so often over this past year. Although this day August 24, 2010 brings to mind the sorrow of his passing, it is also an opportunity to revisit some wonderful memories of him.
Everytime I come to the house this summer, I pass the flowers growing on the north side of the house. Dad loved the marigolds and zinnias that he would plant every year from Walgreens seeds. They are especially beautiful this year. I can see the smile on his face proud of the flowers.
What are your happy memories of him?
