Robert Haugen Obituary

Although it seems like yesterday you passed away like my parents and all other family members we lost, we miss all of you. As we all get older questions form about the past that we won’t find answers to. But we hold on to the memories with the hope of reuniting again some day in the after life. God bless all of you!

When I think of Bob, I'll always think of my last memory of him. At the picnic/60th anniversary party, he joked about coming to my 60th anniversary. He was amused when I told him it was only 36 years away. Should Betty and I be fortunate enough to live to our 60th, we will toast Bob's memory.

I know that Bob and Betty were very good to my mother in her many times of need. I wish sometimes I would have gotten to know Bob better but he was always very nice to us and our family. We pray for Betty every day because I know he was her rock in life. Betty, feel free to call us if you need anything.

Bob Haugen (aka The Cookie Monster) We will all miss his humor, his generosity, his kindness and concern for family and friends.

We will deeply miss uncle Bob for a long time to come. Mike and I will cherish all the memories we had with him for the rest of our lives. He has influenced us greatly. He was a wonderful role model and as close to a father as one can get. He was truly blessed by God with great wisdom and kindness. Though our hearts are sadden, our minds and souls will forever be nourished by the knowledge he has bestowed upon us.

Betty-
We are so sorry for your lose, Bob was a dear man and we loved him very much. Little Bill will miss him and the times they secretly shared together. Please know that if you need anything to contact us and we will be right there.
