Ettinger, Robert E. age 83, loving husband of Judith Shirley Ettinger (nee Zimmerman), devoted father of Michael (Maureen) Ettinger and Elise (Alan) Gelman, fond brother of Jack (Helen) Ettinger, proud grandfather of Andrew (Dana), Nicole, Terri, and Craig Ettinger and Jack Makey and Lukas and Michael Gelman, cherished great-grandfather of Dylan and Grant Ettinger, loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Private services will be held, Today, June 20th. For info: Weinstein Funeral Home (North Shore Chapel), 847-256-5700. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Heart Association, 208 S. LaSalle, Suite 900, Chicago, IL. 60607. Interment private Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie, IL.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Dear Judy,Michael, and Elise,
Myrna and I were so very sad to hear about Bob's death.
I remember the times Michael and would sneak into the house at all hours of the early morning after a night of doing what we should not have been doing. He was always cool no matter what time it was our what are condition was.
Bob always made me feel welcome in the family home and I think I spent more time in Lincolnwood then I did at my own home.
Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.
