Degen Sr., Robert J. beloved husband of Plarie, dear father of Linda (Gene) Newman, Cindy Degen, Christine (Kevin) Orzechowski, Robert Jr. (Susette) and Keith (Maureen), grandfather of eight, brother of Lorraine (the late John) Scott and the late Dorothy (the late Jim) Graham. Please omit flowers. Funeral service Saturday, at 9:15 a.m., from Lack & Sons Funeral Home, 9236 S. Roberts Rd. (8000 W.), Hickory Hills, to Sacred Heat Church, 8200 W. 111th St., for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Friday, 3 to 9 p.m. 708-430-5700.

Dear Rob and Susette,
Jane and I were very sorry to hear that Rob's dad had passed away. However, he is in a far better place with his Lord. We know that his funeral was a "Celebration of Eternal Life." May God bless you and comfort you in this time of sorrow.
