Dear Mr. and Mrs. Coughlin, Mike, Toni, & family,
Words cannot express my deepest sympathies. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
You can take comfort in knowing how much Bobby was loved by everyone around him. Those that know him know he had one of the biggest hearts. He was always able to make us laugh whether it be him ranting about something or him doing his famous dance with his legs. Never a dull moment with Bobby around. :)
Bobby-- I will hold you very close to my heart forever. I will wear my Polo socks and Cubs shirt (the one you bought me, much to your chagrin!) with honor! You were a very good friend, my dear.
I miss you already.

I had the distinct pleasure to attend Holy Cross and play football with Bobby from 1992 - 1996. If there is one thing I will always remember and cherish about Bobby, it is how he could always make you laugh in any situation. No matter how bad or how bleak the situation was, Bobby would say or do something to make you laugh in order to forget about the temporary pain and sadness. I am truly fortunate and a better person for being privileged to know Bobby for the short time that I did. I am extremely sorry for the entire Coughlin family in their time of grievance. Bobby, the only comfort I have is knowing that you are now at home, and you will forever be able to rest in peace.
