Linda,
My condolences to you and your family. I am employed as a secretary by the Bangor School District and graduated from Bangor High 30 years ago. I always enjoyed visiting with Bob when he would call Roger here at school. It was so generous of you and Bob to donate the message board we have here at school for our community to enjoy. Bob was truly a Bangor Cardinal and a hometown fan. May all your wonderful memories help you through this time....

Dear Linda and Family,
On behalf of me, my family, and the Bangor HS Boys Basketball Program, we all extend our sympathy in the passing of your husband Bob. I always enjoyed conversing with him on the phone, as he often checked up on my Basketball team's progress after a game and throughout the season. I loved his enthusiasm and sincere interest in the team/program. As you may have known, we quite often would talk on the phone and somehow we would always get to talking about the "days of old" in Bangor HS sports! I loved hearing those stories!!
I realize that you are sad at this point and time in his passing, but please realize and smile inside knowing that he was a good man whose generosity and sincere support was greatly appreciated!
Again, my best to you and your family at this time and please know that Bob will forever be someone I am very happy and proud to have known!
Sincerely,
Joe Stekel

Linda, I will always be appreciative of the kindness you and Bob showed me and my parents. Bob having me as his guest at the Meat Association meeting is a thrill I will never forget. The outpouring of love for Bob that I witnessed there is a story I have told over and over.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I have many fond memories of Mr. C., my adopted grandfather. He was intelligent, kind and generous. We shared many conversations over the years. From him I learned about life and the brotherhood of people. I especially enjoyed the last few years typing his many stories about his friends and business associates as he reveiwed his life. I admired Mr. C. for many things but mostly for his lust for life and the great love he had for his wife. I love you Mrs. C. and I will miss Bob dearly. Love, "your almost grand-daughter"(as he would call me), Laurie
