Cope, Robert T.

Robert T. Cope, age 62, of Highland, IN, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025.

He is survived by his loving wife, Donna Snedeker-Cope; stepson James R. Jr (Christina); grandchildren Theodore and Jonathan Snedeker; siblings Tina (Mark) Sigerich, Marion Cope Aumond, Virginia (late Timothy) Howard, Jerry (Tammy) Hunt, and Cheryl Hunt (partner Dave Armstrong); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and canine pal Shadow.

Preceded in death by parents Joan and Robert Cope. Later raised by John Hunt with Joan.

Bob was born on January 22, 1963 in Chicago, IL. He then resided in several different locations, Richton Park, Lansing, and Dolton. He was an employee of the Sherwin Williams Co. for 30 years, working as a Technician, then later at CEP in the Paint Lab.

He was an avid Cub fan and loved the casinos. Bob also loved to bake, he could make anything from scratch and it was delicious.

Bob was the most loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was the most generous, funny, caring person to everyone he knew. There will never be another like him. He will be truly missed by family, friends, and by all the lives he touched.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 24, 2025 from 3:00-7:00 PM at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road (one block south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN, 46322.

There will be a service held on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at 9:30 AM at the funeral home.
