Dear Mrs. Conrad
I have known Bob since 1971 when he came to our factory unannounced and "sold" us on the idea of packaging our Ring A Bell Basketball game in a full color carton. We did and it was very successful. He continued to be one of our suplliers for all these years. Since then I have had a great fondness for Bob and I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He was a friendly and very wonderful man. I last saw him at the North Carolina airport last June when he attended a grandchild's wedding. We accidently bumped into each other at that time.
He always spoke about Kevin and Bobby in that they began their basketball careers with Ring A Bell. He was also very proud of their success as adults. Please convey my condolences to them as well.
Best wishes,
Harold Chizewer

Even though I live my life many miles from my Uncle Bob, I still have many wonderful memories of both Uncle Bob and Uncle Bill. As a kid I was able to spend time in both of their homes when visiting from California with my grandpa Myrl (Bob and Bill's brother). As an adult I was only able to see them a few times. As infrequent as these occasions were, both of them always made me smile. Since I usually saw them together, It was always pure entertainment! What a comedic team they were! I am sorry that I can't be in Chicago for the service. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all. He will be missed!

To the Conrad Family,
My sincere condolences on the death of Bob. I first met Bob in 1989 when he was selling corrugated cartons to us at DeSoto in Joliet. I will always have fond memories of the twilight golf we played together during the summer at Woodruff golf course of which Bob always called “Conrad Country Club”. I still have the hat that Bob had made for us that says Conrad Country Club on it. He will always be remembered by me as a sincere friend and great man.

Dear Anne and the entire Conrad family -
Bob was one of those special people that touched me deeply on so many different levels. He was a very special friend and mentor who was always professioanal, always interested, always concerned, always loving, always derpendable, always helpful, always working for the Lord, and he always made me feel very special.
As a dear friend and model, he leaves me with volumes full of life lessons, fond memories, and outrageous stories ... that will live on and on.
Anne, I feel very blessed to have known your wonderful and loving husband. To the family, it was a true pleasure to have worked and played with your father.
Bob was a great and generous man.

I deeply sorry to hear about Bob's Passing. Bob was not only a dear friend but a inspiration. Bob dedicated four years of his life to help mentor me in the life of corrugated. It was the greatest four years of my life. I owe it all to him. This man was a legend..
God Bless Bobby! We will all miss you.

Bobby C.
You were the first person I saw when I came to the U.S. from Russia. You gave me my first basketball and hoop. You always teased me, and I teased you about playing soccer, not basketball. This year I played on my school basketball team. I asked for and wore with pride number "12". You said that made you happy. It made me happy.
Bobby C, I love you and miss you and I pray for you.

Our trip to celebrate the Hall of fame induction and the 50th anniversary of the Loyola basketball team with Anne and Bob. my parents, the Galvin's, the Caukins' and the Gaudin's in New Orleans is one of my favorite memories. My condolences to both of your families. Bob was a wonderful person to know and I am blessed to be able to share this great trip with him.

To Robert Conrad's family,
My prayers and thoughts to you during this most difficult and yet healing time.
Bob (Robert, as I often called him) touched my heart with his many "stories", inspiration, and motivation, not only in a career capacity, but life in general. Robert has had a very special place in my heart and will forever be remembered and talked about.
I am grateful for the opportunity to have known Robert. I will miss him.
Sincerest regrets,

The wonderful memories of Uncle Bob are endless. During my summer trips to Glen Ellyn in the '80s, Uncle Bob could always be counted on for many laughs...not to mention a couple shopping excursions.
I know how much everyone will miss him, but we can take to heart that he's sharing a Bud (and probably a couple off-color jokes) with his best pal: my dad.

I will miss Uncle Bobby. He was so good to our Dad, especially near the end of both of their lives. He was the first person I know to have his own keg in the basement, and a basketball court in the backyard. He was in the hospital waiting with my family for houra to see if my son Tony would live. I will miss his smile, his hug, and his kindness . Thanks for being a part of my life. I love you, and say hi to my Pop for me.

Bob, Jeanne, Kevin and Patti Ann:
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you this week. I have such great memories of your Dad - Thanksgivings at one of our houses, backyard barbecues, those long lunches at Grandpa's and many more. His fun and loving relationship over a lifetime with his brother Bill is a model for all of our kids as well.
Best wishes to all of you and to your Mother as well.
