My sincere condolences to Paula Cavens and family on the passing of doc.I worked with him from the early days of community to the 90's. He was a mentor a friend a commerade and my brother.When he would say to a patient "How can I help you"? He ment what he said.He invested in people and touched many lives. You will be missed.

Dr. Caverns was one of the best emergency room Drs' at Community Hospital. He was kind and respected all. The first time I had raspberry chocolate cake was at one of his Fridays ER get together. The family has my condolences.

I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Cavens when he did medical research. He was always seeking the latest and best information to help his patients.
I also had the good fortune to have him be both my physician and the physician for my family in our ER visits. I always found him to be most sympathetic and encouraging and always had a great experience being treated by him.
He was a true medical professional. He shall be missed.

I will always remember that he was the one. That gave me a chance when no one else would . I became the person I am because he believed that I could become a good EMT. And helped me gain the confidence to do what I did .

Dr Cavens helped my Grandmother deal with her first illness and enabled her to live until she was 93. I'll always appreciate and respect him for easing my worries and getting through the worst time in my life.
