Bovenzi Sr., Robert Joseph of Western Springs, beloved husband of the late Darlene (nee Gates), loving father of Patricia (John) Knight, Rev. Robert J. Jr., C. P., Joseph and Deborah, devoted grandfather of Robert Knight and Catherine Parmenter, dear great-grandfather of Cheltzie and Caitlynn Knight, Chloe, Joseph, Alexander and Anna Parmenter, fond brother of Virginia (late Roger) Tagtmeier, Madeline Barr, Josephine (Charles) Pelley, Geraldine (Paul) Neumann, and the late Joseph (Ronnae), dear uncle of many. Visitation 3 to 9 p.m., Friday, at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Prayers 8:15 a.m., Saturday, from the funeral home, to St. John of the Cross Church, Western Springs, for Funeral Mass at 8:45 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to The American Cancer Society or The Passionist Community appreciated. Funeral home phone: 708-352-6500To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
