Robert "Bob" B. Birkett, 72, died on February 15, 2021 after battling cancer. Bob is survived by his longtime partner Carol Drogosz; Loving father of Raymond (Heather) Birkett and Joseph Birkett; Devoted grandfather of Forest, Kristy, Shailen, Atticus, Davin, and Kian; Loving son of the late Raymond and Josephine, nee Keane, Birkett; Brother of Bernadette (George), Raymond (Julie), Joseph (Patti), Mary Alice (John), Thomas (Patty), and Christopher (Penni); Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews; Best friend to his dogs, Miki and Joey. Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel, sister, Colette, and twin brother, John. Proud veteran of US Army and member of IBEW Local 134. Visitation for Bob will be from 3-9 PM on Wednesday, February 24, at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W 103rd, Oak Lawn. Interment Private. In consideration of the safety of our guests and associates, Blake-Lamb will adhere to the current gathering restrictions in the state of Illinois, which allow 50 or fewer guests at services. Proper social distancing must be practiced and all guests will be required to wear face masks at all times. Thank you for your cooperation
