Mommy, it's been 9 long years since you died. I don't understand how we have made it through life's upheavals without our rudder, you. Your wonderful kids are here for each other. The way you taught us. And Debbie is like one of our sisters.
I blow kisses to you, catch them.
I love you my mommy

I heard the bell, then I heard your voice whisper, "San, I got my wings" on the early morning hour of December 4, 2014. I am so happy you earned your wings in heaven, I knew you would....... for you already had a set here on earth. I am sending you heartfelt thanks for making me the woman I am today. I Love you Mom! My mommy, I love you. This past year without you has been tough. I feel you everywhere I go. When I go downstairs I still call out, mommy, it's me. But there's no answer.
I know you are sending prayers for us as we go about our lives. Thank you. You have always been our greatest support & continue to do so from heaven.
I still cry from the heartache of missing you. But I do gain comfort knowing that our merciful God took you home so quickly. We were with you, got to help you & be some comfort to you in your last days here.
I will carry the memory of you sitting on the patio watching "your" birds flying around. "Your" squirrels acting silly. "Your ducks & geese & herons. Oh the memories I have of you living with us are wonderful. I am glad you spent time here.
We are all moving toward peace, slowly, but still missing you.
My wonderful mommy, I will see you again.
I love you, forever,
Sueuse

Hello Everyone!
This year went by with all of us missing Mom, wishing we could hear her voice once again. I know we have all dialed her number instinctively without even realizing it, then hanging up, crying because we remember she isn't here.....
I actually believe though that Mom IS HERE with us, watching us, cheering us on, yelling at us (because we are doing what she warned us not to, but we did it anyway) lol
The reason I don't write on this board is because I talk to her all the time. My own private conversation, daily, saying good morning mama as I wake up and see her picture in my room. (I still have the board we made with her picture on it, her face smiling at me every morning :)
One day I said good morning mama and I saw her turn and say "sexy" so now I say good morning sexy" ! lol
Anyway, I'm here to give you a message from MOM.
She is watching every one of us. If you listen closely you might hear her yourself.
I believe she is whispering, maybe even yelling so we can hear her. I'm sure she is very proud of each and every one of you From the oldest to the youngest, from the grandchild to the great, great grandchild She is watching over you, cheering you on, nudging you, maybe even pulling you back so you don't do anything foolish.
We have all had some changes this year, some good, some not so good, just believe that Mom has been with us through it all.
I felt her cheering for me when I got my new job, I know she is happy to see Toni up and about, but I also hear her yelling at Toni saying Go Sit! lol I actually see the eyebrow too, wow lol
I'm sure she is proud of Guy for being so strong and a support for all of us! As I was writing this Guy sent me a message with Mom's voice saying, I love You! THANK YOU!
She is with Sandy giving her support. That little voice in the back of your mind? It's called MOM lol
Sue Sue Mom is probably saying, slow down cause she knows you take on alot.
I'm sure Mom loves her angel by the weeping willow tree.
Lor Lor, Mom is with you too, rooting for you to quit smoking, smiling at your new grandson.
In Heaven, there is only love so you can just imagine your own words of love and encouragement. Not just for us but for our kids and Grandkids.
I can hear her saying,
Love ya!
We love you too Mom!

Dear Mom,
On the one year anniversary of your death, I thought of you with love today, just like I did yesterday and the days before that too. I think of you in silence and want to call your name..... to hear your voice just one more time...... but, all I can do is hold you in my heart. All the memories we shared are a keepsake now, just like your picture in the frame. I love you Mom and will always speak your name with eternal love. Until we meet again...... Your loving Daughter......

Today is Buster's 8th birthday. He still goes to the vent in the bathroom, trying to smell your cooking. He & Cleo run to the door looking for you & the treats you had for them. If they still remember, you know I do. I really wanted to play cards 2 days ago. But then I realized that my partner wasn't here & I started crying. Buster has been jumping up on the fireplace hearth by your picture. I don't understand why. The Youth Lake Event at the Kings is the 14th. You had a ball watching all the kids play. I have photos of you with them. You will be missed by them. Some have started college! They grow up so fast. I know I'm rambling, but I just needed to send you a message. You are in my heart my mommy & I love you. Pray for our family, some are having tough times. Sending hugs that I wish I could give you.

My mommy, the days don't get easier, I miss you so much. It's actually a physical pain, the missing you. To celebrate the 4th, we have some friends coming over. We'll bbq, decorate the boat & enter the parade, remember how we used the prize to eat at Tuscany? Maybe we'll win again. I know how you enjoyed watching the boats & eating the hotdogs. The flags are up & the yard looks nice. Of course Cleo will be cowering in the corner because of the fireworks noise. I bought some sparklers today & a few fountains. I remember you, Emily & I sitting on the porch in Arkansas watching Tommy & Emily light the fountains & we all had masks on. I bet your view will be better than any we'll see. I love you mommy, I love you.

So on your seven month anniversary....I pray your resting in eternal peace with our family and friends. I love you Mom! XOXO

Happy Mother's Day mommy. I know that it's a day set aside to honor mothers. I honor you every day mommy. I don't know how, but I am making it each day. Yesterday, Tommy hung the hummingbird feeders. He proudly pointed to them & said, Look, da mudder can see them from her chair, she loves to watch her hummingbirds. Then he realized that you aren't here. On Thursday, we had 2 geese families come up on shore. Remember how they come here to eat & rest. One had 16 babies! The other had 3. They stayed about 15 minutes then got back in the water. So many things are happening. The lilac bush is blooming & they smell so wonderful. The iris are almost ready to bloom. The Lily of the Valley & the Bluebells are blooming. So is the Dogwood tree. Your world here is growing & blooming. But I don't know how that can happen without you here. Why hasn't everything stopped? My heart has stopped. The ache is so strong that I want to scream from the pain of missing you. Oh my mommy, God answered my prayer that you not suffer. He did. I am so grateful that He took you before you could suffer more than you did. Hug all of our family in heaven. Please pray for our family, we have so many needs. I love you, I love you, I love you. God blessed me when He chose you for my mommy.

Happy Easter, mommy. I remember when we would get the baskets & candy after the kids went to bed. We would make a basket for each of them, on your bed. Then we would "hide" them in the front room. The room wasn't very large & they found them pretty fast. I have so many memories. They help, but I can't hug a memory. I decided to have friends come over for dinner. We weren't going anywhere so I will be cooking. Your favorite, ham. Keep praying for us, we need them. I miss you more than I can stand. We went everywhere together, even the doctor. Thank you mommy for all the Easter shoes & dresses & hats & gloves & purses. You made every holiday special for us. I love you my mommy. hugs, Suesue

Happy Birthday Mommy. What a special day this has always been for us. All the hand made gifts, the chocolate covered cherries that you hated. You always acted like they were the best gift. The ugly earrings we bought you from Netties. When you found out how much she had charged us, you went right there & demanded she give us our money back. You were always our champion in whatever way we needed you. So sorry I couldn't be your champion when you needed to fight cancer. I prayed, but God answered in the way He thought best. You get to spend your birthday with your mommy & daddy, brothers & Mike. I miss you so much, sometimes it hurts so much that I can't breathe. But I know that you aren't hurting, you are at peace & with God in His kingdom. When I come I know I will get your wonderful hug. All the kids are having a rough time, we all love & miss you so much. That's an awesome tribute to you, you were a fantastic mother. And father. Mommy, I wish there was a way you could tell us something. There's a misconception that only you could clear up. Sometimes I pick up the phone to call you, or start to go downstairs & then it hits me that you aren't here. I love you, my mommy. I'll always treasure the last words you spoke to me. Happy Birthday, my mommy.

Hi Mom:; It's been 1 month since God took you to be with him, it hasn't gotten any easier for I miss talking with you every day, getting advice or just your reassurance on things. I know you're looking down on us with that never ending love. I love you so much and miss you, I know you hear me talking to you each day and feel a closeness that you around. I will always have the memories but feel selfish because i want you here with us. Always and forever Loving and Missing You. XOXO, Laura.

Mom,
It's been 1 month now and I still get overcome by the thought that you are not here! That is what I find the hardest to comprehend! You were SO BIG to me. I'm sure that doesn't make sense but it just seems impossible that you are not here. Again I am not making sense because actually, you are here, but not in the same way! I know your spirit will always be here since you are with our Lord and if He says He will never leave me nor forsake me, and if you are with Him, well then…..
As a little girl, you seemed sooo tall. Taller than dad even. As I grew up I realized why I thought that. It's because you were/ seemed so strong. You were tough! I knew that you could handle almost anything or anyone! You sure tried. Lol Look out to anyone in your way, male or female! And to the unwise, That eyebrow was a clue to run!!!! You often said you never had to spank me cause you would look at me and I'd cry! Lol I thank God every day for wisdom, that, right there, proved it! I was blessed to be the 7th child, in many ways. One, being able to see the mistakes of my siblings and seeing your belt or paddle to their backsides was definitely enough for me! Whew, that scared me.
As a mother I tried so hard to be like you! I wanted my kids to be obedient and respectful to me too, so I tried to emulate the eyebrow thing you had going on (cause really, I thought that was what worked for you) Well, instead, all I got were Kristen and David laughing at all the funny faces I made trying! Lol Eventually I did something right because I also raised 3 well behaved respectful children, not the 7 I wanted but then again, God knew me better than I did! Whew!
Although you knew all this because I made sure to tell every Mother's Day or Birthday but I never knew if you really understood the admiration I had for you. You were never one to show your real feelings (other than despise for any other driver who, according to you, never seemed to be American, whether they were or not) LOL
Mom, you were funny, artistically talented, wise, strong, tough, caring, nurturing, loving, nature loving, God fearing, Jesus trusting and I will miss seeing you in the flesh and hearing your voice. When the sadness comes I'm reminded that I can still talk to you, see your picture and remember more times…………I Love You
Love Rita Lynn

My Mommy,
It's New Year's eve. I'm gonna miss calling you at midnight, or trying to because all of your babies would be doing the same thing. You were the one we wanted to talk to as the clock finished chiming the new year. You were always the first person we called to share all the news, to ask for advice or just to hear you say love ya, before we hung up. A new year, without you. It seems like there can't be any new years because you aren't here. But there is & will continue to be. I love you & miss you so much. Thank you for always being there for me. hug grama & grampa, Mike & Uncle Jr. & all the rest of our family for me. Some day I'll do it myself. But the first one I'll hug is you mommy. Like always, you were always my first. I love you, my mommy

Hi Mom,
From the first time that I met you, I sensed your Love and affection towards all of your kids. When I looked into your eyes all I could see was Love and Beauty that you passed on to My Sandy. You were always so Happy and full of energy and also so very determined about the things that you did. I will miss seeing your smiling face and your forever laugh. Like I say to Sandy, "Mom will always be with us, for she chose to be here with us on her visit and that's where she stayed." "Au Aloha Ole!" I Love You. Dear Nana,
I loved you more than anything in this world. You were the strongest woman I knew and will ever meet. If you were never in my life I have no clue where I'd be now. You have taken care of me for these first 13 years of my life. You were proud of me whenever I would receive good grades, and it was an honor making you proud and I will always do my best for you. You also taught me SO many things. How to read, how to write, how to be a great student at school, how to be polite to others, the list goes on. I am so thankful I had you in my life. You were such an influence on the wonderful life you caused me to live. Your caring and loving personality made it seem like you adopted me and made me as one of your very own. We share so many memories that it's and endless amount. So this here is just one huge thank you - for everything. I will never forget everything you have done for me. Your presence is forever in my heart.
I love you forever and always.

Mom,
You lived a long life surrounded by the people who mattered most to you, Your Children! I've always likened you to a Mother bird. You watched over your nest, you fed us, provided shelter for us and when the time came, you even nudged us out of the nest and taught us how to survive on our own. You watched over us, never too far away, close enough to protect us or hear us if we cried. Look out to anyone threatening your babies cause you were right there! Brave, bold and fierce. Nobody went near your nest! You did well Mom, your children grew to love, respect and admire you. You taught us to be good parents just by your example. You weren't one for many words, as a matter of fact; your eyebrow said it all! Lol Although your Golden years were calm and relaxing your younger years were not so bright. Growing up too early, marrying so young and having children was hard enough. Then when your dad died I know it crushed you. He always told you that you were his Million Dollar Baby. As if that weren't hard enough your mom also died at an early age and you promised to take care of your younger brother. Married at 17, 2 or 3 children and now a teenage brother whom you absolutely adored even to his death! (Also at an early age). Death was no stranger to you, your brother Eddie as a teen, your mom and dad, then your own teenage son Michael!!! No Mom, life was not always bright for you, but you persevered, you toughed it out, you rose above it all! Even fighting cancer 14 years ago! By your faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, you fought that good fight of faith! Then, the Lord took you home, swiftly and mercifully, saying….
“Well Done My Child”
