Was saddened to hear of RJs passing. Have been looking for classmates from St. Bonnies and was informed by Susan Meyer on the SB site that she passed. Haven't seen her in over 50 years but recall her being 'one of the boys' back in the day. A real tomboy. Used to be the first out to the ballfield when we guys were getting up a softball game at recess. Good lil lefty as I recall. Always smilin. One of the few classmates with whom I was hoping to reconnect. Sorry for you loss. B. Kelleher '58 grad class

Rita Kunz was the best kind of mother in law. Rita would take a few buses from Chicago to Alabama everytime A little Kunz was born.
When she got in town. Rita would look for a way to show her love. Like washing the storm windows, painting the house. The rooms in the house also. Wow ! I loved it. Then I'd get out of cooking. Rita would make all her son Troy's Favorite dishes. Night after night. I'll miss the way she made the kids feel. She always made them smile.
Love Mrs. Troy Kunz ( Tisha)
and Kids Shawna,Kayla,Logan,Breanna,Sierra,Blaze.

To The Kunz Family. Was so very surprised and shocked to read about Rita in the Paper. it was to late to make wake/Mass, but wanted the family to know how much she will be missed. We worked together at Wrigley Field ,for many ,many yrs, and kept in touch with phone calls and Xmas cards, but last yr,was first time i didn't hear from her,i wish i had called her now ,instead of sending card. she will be missed by many, we had many laughs together and my family all send their ,prayers to your family. rest in peace Rita, love your old friends and co workers from the south side. I was so sorry to hear about Rita. We were so close for many years. Our kids were in the same high school. Karen worked with Rita at Wrigley Field a few seasons. Rita and I would party in our younger years while we sang and danced to "G L O R I A ". She was a good person and great cousin. She will be missed. My Sympathy goes out to the family. Love,

Greg,
Thanks for informing me on this. I just returned home from Afghanistan. I saw Rita in passing when I came in to Chicago last visit. She wss having difficulty breathing then. I believe it was recurring pneumonia. Anyway, I am sorry to hear about her passing. There is a lot of history with her.
I was just in Chicago yesterday. I was travelling home from Camp Atterbury for demobilization screening and had to connect at Chicago. My connector was canelled because of maintenance, so I stayed at my sister's for the night and got a seat the next day. I am home now, and trying to get back into the swing.
Give my regards to the Kunz family when you see them, and tell them I wish I could have made the wake to show my respect for Rita.
Take care,
Edmund
