Rickard Soich Obituary

Rick was a close friend of mine in high school. He was a wonderful and decent man. We shared many great times together. He was one of a small number of people who I genuinely cared about during my high school years.

The last time we met at our high school reunion, he told me that he was seriously ill so his death comes as no great surprise. Nevertheless, the world... certainly my world... is greatly diminished by his passing.

A wonderful person has left us. I will miss him very much. I will always remember his love of life and the joy he brought to my life. God bless you Rick. Be at peace now.

I'd like to offer my sympathies to you on Rick's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with the Soich family. At Bogan, I always felt Rick was a great guy and was willing to do anything for you. I'm sure he'll be missed. I saw him at our last reunion, he really brought back some fond memories.

Please accept my deepest sympathies. I remember uncle Rick when he lent me his car, that blue chevelle, I took off for the cottage just in time for white creek days. When I got back Rick thought I was going to be back the next day. He was upset but Rick never got mad, that's how he was. He even let me borrow it again.

I really wish to convey how I am saddened by Raj's departure. I just chatted with him less then 2 weeks ago. Raj was very nice to me, trusting my words and actions. Raj's opinion I counted on. Sometimes we butted heads, but hey. No matter what your views or opinions were, he greeted you with kindness and will be missed very much.

I attended Bogan High School with Rick. He was always one of the cool kids. He was a great guy. I'm sure he'll be missed.
