Richard Zeman Obituary
Zeman, Richard Charles Richard Charles Zeman, lifelong resident of LaGrange, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2010 at home. He is preceded in death by his wife Doris Grace (nee Klotz), and by his parents Albert and Lillian. He is survived by his daughter Alane (Alan) Laatz, grandchildren Aric, Alyssa, Anthony and Nathan Laatz, and his sister, Darlene (late Richard) Schimek. Richard was a WWII Navy Veteran and a grocery store owner. He worked for Jewel Foods for over 30 years, and he was also a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge #770, Knights Templar and the Shriners. Visitation 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, with Masonic Service at 7:00 p.m. at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside, where Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Forest Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family appreciated. Funeral home phone 708/352-6500.
