Richard Shandick Obituary
Age 63, late of Hammond, IN and formerly of Hegewisch, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2022. Kind brother of Mary Blanchard and Peggy Jones. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents: George and June Shandick; brothers: Ronald Shandick, Larry Shandick, Randy Shandick and Timothy Shandick; and great nephew George Elias. Scott cared for his nieces and nephews like his own children. He was adored by his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Scott was a proud member of the Burnham Fellowship Club and Lake Edge Alano Klub on the East Side. Visitation 2 - 8 p.m., Monday, December 26, 2022 at Opyt Funeral Home 13350 S.
